“Elks Care and Elks Share” is more than just our motto, it is our character and purpose.

Enjoy the fellowship of coming to the Lodge’s social functions and enjoy the ambiance with other members.

Belonging to the Lodge is a great thing and is not just a place of parties and inexpensive libation. As an Elks Lodge (not a club) we have a purpose and a task to perform. That in a nutshell means we stand for programs such as our veterans, our Home Nurses and the Elks National Foundation just to name a few.  We carry out many programs for our youth and also help local causes.

If you are looking for something meaningful that truly makes a difference in your local community and the lives of others, and if you want to meet new and interesting people who share your values and commitments to our country, then you’ve found it.

While it is true that our lodge dues are higher than many of the local clubs, the majority of the dues help pay the bills including upkeep of the lodge and the grounds.

Have the opportunity to meet new people and share your talents (and maybe even acquire some new ones) while having fun and contributing to the community as a supporter of our many charitable activities that make a difference in other people’s lives.

Join a lodge that is ranked 9th in the state and 187th out of 1923 nationally with a current membership of over 800 people.

Join the millions of other fine American citizens who helped better the destiny and way of life for countless thousands in our country. Elks have been there, quietly providing help and encouragement for over 140 years.

Join your neighbors and friends by taking a prominent role in the improvement of your community life.

Become part of one of the best charitable organizations in America.

Dine and socialize with other members and bring your friends and neighbors to see what a great place Norwin Elks can be. (Weather permitting you can dine and socialize on our large patio equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas).

Enjoy reasonably priced food prepared by our chef and his staff and enjoy refreshments served by our friendly bartenders and wait staff.

Attend member’s only functions such as the family picnic, breakfast with Easter Bunny and breakfast with Santa.

Enjoy local musical groups and disk jockeys that perform at the lodge on various Saturday evenings throughout the year.

Discounted room rental rates for family functions.

Play pool, shuffleboard, horse shoes and Bocce.

Enjoy the camaraderie in Elks Lodges throughout the United States where you will find individuals who possess a deep sense of patriotism, fair play, chivalry, and dedication to noble causes. Your membership is a passport of trust and friendship into the lodges located in more than 1,800 cities and towns throughout the country - your "homes away from home."

Joining the Norwin Elks

Have you been thinking about joining the Norwin Elks Lodge? Here are your first steps.

  • If you know a current Elks member contact them and have them take you by the lodge to experience the social quarters or to an event to experience the fun.
  • If you don’t know a member come by the lodge during business hours and enter our lodge through the double doors at the front of the building. Press the doorbell to the left of the next door. The bartender will open the door (when you hear the buzzer, open the door). Walk in and introduce yourself to the bartender, let them know you are interested in joining and ask him for an application.
  • If you don’t know a member come by the lodge some time when the Lounge is open and walk in and introduce yourself to the bartender and let him/her know you are interested in joining.
  • You can either fill the application out at the lodge or take it home to fill out and return it later. Be sure to fill out the sections "To Be Answered by the Applicant" and (APPLICANT) only.
  • You can also download and print our Membership Application (click on the icon below), fill out the application and return it to the lodge in person.
  • Once you fill the application out, give the completed application to the bartender along with $25.00, which goes towards your annual dues.
  • The bartender will give you a receipt. Make sure you get a receipt.

It’s as easy as that! The entire process takes at least a month.

To be eligible for membership in the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, you must be a citizen of the United States over the age of 21 who believes in God.
